The association between cervical degenerative MRI findings and self-reported neck pain, disability and headache

A 2023 published study suggests that the association between degenerative changes seen on MRI images, and neck and disability is only modest suggesting that the findings should not be used to guide the clinical decision. There was no correlation between the scan findings and headaches.
