Mark and Spencer and the British Chiropractic Association launch back supporting lingerie range.

After around two years, a joint initiative between the British Chiropractic Association (BCA) and Marks & Spencer has resulted in M&S launching their Perfect Poise (TM) range of undergarments.

Back in 2010 M&S approached the BCA for advice and input into their design and manufacturing process for this new range. Both the association and some of its members have been heavily involved, particularly Neil Osborne at Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth.

Panels and cleverly hidden padding support the back and bust. An independent survey of over 100 women, 87% of those tested felt the products provided support to their back. It is a three piece range consisting of a bra, a body and high wasted knickers. They are easily identified as they carry a swing tag containing the BCA logo and key posture advice, These garments are available in M&S stores and online.

M&S came to the BCA because of  a strong brand presence and reputation and this certainly represents the highest profile link-up that the BCA has undertaken. Current and previous collaborations include big brands as Targus, Saab, Sealy, Pickfords, Drink Aware, Travelodge, Virgin and Figleaves to name a few!

Whereas the practitioners here at the clinic have yet to try the range (no free samples!!!), we are sure that M&S and the BCA have produced a worthwhile range of functional underwear. We just hope that it doesn’t put us out of  business!!!
